Adult Support Worker (temporary)

The incumbent is responsible for providing support to residents including planning and implementing a range of activities that are aligned with the goals identified in their service and nursing plans. This includes recognizing their individual strengths, preferences, circumstances and supporting their healthy development and sense of well-being. As well as supporting PLEA Family Caregivers as directed and responds to critical incidents.

Residential Services Coordinator (temporary)

The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the services provided to residents, including ensuring that their service and nursing plans address their individual strengths, needs, preferences and circumstances. As well as providing support and direction to PLEA Family Caregivers to ensure that they follow the agreed upon service plans, receive the practical assistance they require, understand the services they have agreed to provide and comply with the agency's policies and procedures.

U-Learn Tutor (BC Certified)

Through individualized tutoring services our tutors help the children and youth we serve overcome the educational challenges they face.

Contracted hours vary from 8-10 to 30 hours per month, depending on the needs of the young person. Schedules and case load can be flexible to fit in with other commitments. Rate is $30 per hour. Contracts are typically long-term.

We are currently looking for BC certified tutors who are willing to work in one or more of the following areas: Coquitlam, Fraser Valley, Langley and Maple Ridge. 

Experience with alternate education, aboriginal populations, youth at-risk, learning and behavioral difficulties an asset.
