Youth Support Worker - Part-time 21 hrs per week

This position is responsible for engaging the youth in one-to-one activities in the community that are aligned with the goals identified in their service plans, recognize their individual strenghs and circumstances and support their healthy development and sense of success and well-being. The youth in this program have complex care needds that require supported family care living environments with a heightened level of support and supervision accompanied by a range of specialized services.

Office Administrator

This position provides a wide range of adminstrative services to agency staff and collaterals to support the day-to-day operations of delivering effective services. The incumbent is often the initial point of contact for members of the community, staff and other stakeholders and is responsible for dealing with a wide variety of matters including the maintenance of agency-wide lists, records and filing systems.

 Adult Support Worker

The residents who access this program are adults who have complex personal and social needs that require a heightened level of support.  The incumbent is responsible for providing support to residents including planning and implementing a range of activities that are aligned with the goals identified in their service and nursing plans.

U-Learn Tutor (BC Certified)

Through individualized tutoring services our tutors help the children and youth we serve overcome the educational challenges they face.

Contracted hours vary from 8-10 to 30 hours per month, depending on the needs of the young person. Schedules and case load can be flexible to fit in with other commitments. Rate is $30 per hour. Contracts are typically long-term.

We are currently looking for BC certified tutors who are willing to work in one or more of the following areas: Coquitlam, Fraser Valley, Langley and Maple Ridge. 

Experience with alternate education, aboriginal populations, youth at-risk, learning and behavioral difficulties an asset.
