Family Caregiving
PLEA Family Caregivers are the heart of our residential youth services
and of FolkStone. We have a network of more than 50 caregivers throughout
Metro Vancouver. They provide excellent care for our youth services residents
and to adults with a range of health conditions and disabilities. They are
integral to our programs and to the success of those we serve.
Family caregiving is a home based opportunity for caring people who would
like to make a difference in the life of another and in the community. PLEA
provides ongoing training, strong support and competitive monthly fees.
We have family caregiver or “foster parenting” opportunities throughout Metro Vancouver for our youth programs, with our Northwest Territories program or with FolkStone – Adult Family Care Homes for seniors and other adults who are unable to live alone.
