What does a "Folkstone Home" look like?

A Folkstone Home offers seniors the opportunity to live with real families in familiar neighborhoods. Each home is the home of a carefully screened & qualified caregiver connected to a centralized 24 hour emergency system. This provides the caregiver with access to nursing support and other trained professionals.

How do I know that a "Folkstone Home" is what my loved one needs?

We provide a full range of comprehensive skilled nursing services for short and long term care. Folkstone homes assist adults of all ages from personal care to extended care.

Can I continue to use my own personal Physician?

Yes, we encourage residents to continue the relationship with their physician. Our caregivers will assist with making all appointments and will accompany residents to all appointments as required.

Will my family be able to visit me at a "Folkstone Home"?

Yes, we recommend that family and friends take an active part in your loved ones social calendar. Our commitment is to maintain an open door... being receptive to our residents and working closely with family members.

Will a “Folkstone Home” care for someone who has a form of Dementia or Alzheimer’s?

Yes! We have specialized caregivers who are adept at handling Dementia & Alzheimer’s Disease. The level of care required is assessed frequently to ensure that when the illness advances, the appropriate care and safety needs are implemented immediately.

What meals are served at a “Folkstone Home”

Our homes offer home cooked meals daily plus in between meal nourishment
